  Have the people that "proclaim" to love you, contacted you? Your phone hasn't rung in forever, correct? Where are they? Yet, if you died tomorrow, they would come running to your funeral shedding tears. Tears for what? They don't have a clue what's going on in your life, nor do they even care. Stop exerting energy into dead pockets in your life, redirect that energy into areas that desire your attention.

 What's the difference between a smart person and a wise person? A smart person doesn't listen, can't accept constructive criticism, takes everything personal, stubborn, and always exhibits ignorance at every turn. A wise person accepts constructive criticism, always listens, doesn't take everything personal, and exercises humility. Smart people seem to think education elevates them above those uneducated. Wise people are slow to speak and quick to listen. 

 Have you ever thought about when your life actually started? We all have a different start date as to when our life actually started, whether that be 25, 35, 45, 55. Don't feel embarrassed to admit your life didn't start until later in life, that's normal, because not everybody's maturation process is the same. So if you are granted an opportunity to enjoy life in present time, maximize that opportunity while it exist, because like everything else in life, it has a shelf life with an expiration date stamped on it, only you have no idea what the actual date is. 

  If you don't approve of something a person says, knowing it's the truth, you have some issues. Why would you judge a person based on the truth? Now perhaps hearing a lie would have been more soothing to your ears, but for some people, that's not the fabric of who they are, so either accept truthfulness, or live the rest of your life as a lie.

 Do have someone in your life that you privately care about, that nobody knows about? If so, keep it that way, because your happiness should not be dictated by someone else's approval. Happiness generates longevity, and with longevity comes peace. It's perfectly fine to privately love someone that nobody knows about, it's no written rule that says you have to share your private love with the world. 

 It's the same ole theme, "it's always somebody else's fault". It's never your fault, no accountability.
