Cemented Thoughts

 It's one thing to desire love and affection, it's another thing to reject love and affection when it's offered to you. Love and affection is not something that grows on trees, so it's not plentiful or widespread. That is not to say you have to go running for it as it presents itself. However, if that is something that has eluded you most of your adult life, one would wonder why would you reject something you may or may not ever see again? Your not doing yourself any favors by being abrasive, it will only harden your heart over time and cement your place in life away from true companionship.
