Gentle Thoughts
Upon correcting a person, you do not have to insult them during the process. It's a thin line between constructive criticism and insults, they are almost joined at the hip pending on the person delivering the message. It can be something as simple as voice tone, facial expression, attitude, vocabulary, and your choice of timing upon delivering the message. Exercising constructive criticism often times requires a soft touch, meaning some situations do not require instant correction. It may require waiting a few hours, or even the next day in order to make your point without being taken out of context. Telling them you love them can also soften the blow.
