 What would you do if someone blatantly assassinated your character in an effort to elevate themselves in life? The natural presumption is to respond boisterously with aggression, but what would that prove? Nothing. What would Jesus to in that situation? Walk away in silence of course. Such behavior doesn't require a response.

  It's mind boggling how so many people are willing to dial back their inner growth in order to fit in with people they care about. It's as if they are ashamed to reveal the inner growth within them. Why? Growth is nothing to be ashamed of, so stop hiding it. It's perfectly fine to outgrow people, because it shows maturity and a willingness to change, the Lord loves that whether you know it or not. It doesn't mean you have to distance yourself from a person, they'll do that anyway once they see the growth within you.
