 If you found someone you truly desire, why not tell them? Being the aggressor doesn't minimize you as a person, it's your pride that's interfering with your conscious. And we all know what God says about a person with pride? "Show me a man with pride and I'll show you a fool".

Why? Growth is nothing to be ashamed of, so stop hiding it. It's perfectly fine to outgrow people, because it shows maturity and a willingness to change, the Lord loves that whether you know it or not. It doesn't mean you have to distance yourself from a person, they'll do that anyway once they see the growth within you.
