Celibacy is often times practiced openly among women, much to the chagrin of men, many women are able to sustain celibacy for extended periods of time. Why is it men fail to practice the art of celibacy? Is it because they feel it takes away from their masculinity as a man? Or do they feel it devalues their own perception of what defines a man? Actually, it's the unwillingness to practice celibacy that removes the empowerment many men desire to have. Understand, if 3/4 of all men practiced celibacy, it would not only empower all men, but it would also empower women, lift their self esteem, and transform them into excellent wives. Men that seek empowerment, must seek empowerment through God, not man, and upon doing so, must be willing to exercise self discipline.
