Reason for Thought
Does a person have to EARN your forgiveness after hurting you? If so, why? Since when were you elevated above God? Because even HE forgives us (without) earning it, so who elevated you above God? In fact, God never said once that we had to earn his forgiveness, only that we ask for it, nothing more. We've all done things warranting punishment, escaping the wrath of hell. Yet so many people feel forgiveness has to be earned, why is that? Lets use common sense here, if forgiveness had to be earned, how could one earn it, through reversal of what's already been done? Forgiveness defines character, relieves stress, and extends life. NEVER tell a person that have to earn your forgiveness okay?
