  How can you tell someone how to get out of the rain, when you can't even get out of the rain yourself? Some people are always sticking their nose where it doesn't belong, offering assistance for the sake of being nosey. Yet when faced with the exact same problem, knowledge always seem to elude them when matters most.

  Its some things in life that just don't add up, or does it? You've taken calculated risk that's paid great dividends, elevating you to a place in life you never thought you'd be. However, you've taken calculated risk that didn't necessarily resonate with the thoughts to put into those risks. Failure can often times bring balance, revealing knowledge that you otherwise wouldn't have received.

  As the saying goes, "you do better when you know better", don't allow ignorance to be the make up of your character. Yes, some ignorance can't be avoided, but its also ignorance that can be avoided, by simply using the common sense God gave you. Don't allow yourself to become a stupor to stupidity by ignoring common sense. are

  Often times blessings come from someone you least suspect, coming at you in ways you'd never think of. Some of your biggest blessings can come in areas you pay little to no attention to. It can come in the form of an email, a stranger you'll never meet in person, a life changing idea from eavesdropping, or a kid with an IQ much higher than yours. Its a plethora of ways blessings can come showering down on you, but only if you're receptive of receiving those subtle gestures. Otherwise you'll live the rest of your life in darkness, wondering how you missed out on so many life opportunities. Or perhaps you can look at it this way, if it wasn't meant for you to have, it wouldn't have presented itself to you in the first place, opportunities only roll around once.

  Logic reveals to us how things should be despite how we feel it should be, and that's what counts. However, not everybody agrees with logic, nor do they respect it. Perhaps its because some people are mentally twisted, thinking that they can manipulate or rearrange a script that's already been written. Its like trying to coerce scribes into writing distorted scriptures. You can't change what's already been written, nor can you recreate the wheel that's already been spoken for. You must obey logic and know that its not your world to change.

  If you were to ask 10 people to give you the basic criteria for love in a relationship, you would receive 10 different answers. So what does that tell you? It simply means that we all have different views on how we view and want to receive love into our lives. For some, the criteria is very simple and sustainable. And even those are hard to follow for some people. Perhaps if you look at the simplicity of what you're trying to accomplish, companionship can be attained more smoothly. Shorten your checklist of priorities, making it more simplistic and attainable to follow and go from that. If you're using a long checklist you're only pricing yourself off the market.

  If a person has to check off all the boxes in order for you to get involved with them, you'll never find happiness in your life. Why? Because happiness is not defined by checking off all the boxes, its defined by the compatibility you have with that individual. Often times compatibility can come in a plethora of disguises, including physical appearance, financial status, or your willingness to have an open mind. Yes, we have a certain criteria that determines our availability to a person, however, do not allow your criteria's to overtake the value of life itself, otherwise happiness will avoid you at every turn.

  Life can be very simple, yet fundamentally complicated despite its simplicity. For example, people respect money more than the person itself, imagine that. Another example would be the transparency of a person throughout their journey in life. Your level of patience in times of struggle when your finances have been exhausted. Or your behavior after you've made several accomplishments in attaining all the things you've always wanted in life. But the fact of the matter is, the simplicities of life seem very easy on the surface, until the realities of what its all about over shadows its innocence. Like Comment Share

  Sometimes enough just isn't enough in trying to accommodate those that seek help. They'll sensationalize irrelevancies that has nothing to do with your efforts to appease them. Perhaps its because you weren't congruent to the things they deemed important, making it virtually impossible to continue moving forward from that point, due to an over abundance of negative energy. Some people you just can't satisfy no matter how hard you try.

  Some people believe in Jesus, some don't. So for the sake of argument lets pretend his existence never happened, where would the world be today? Because you have to know, if not for Jesus, Adam's existence would be irrelevant, think about it. Especially seeing as it was Adam that was the first on the scene to comfort Jesus after his suffering. Its funny how those things intertwine doesn't it? It runs deeper than you think. Such deeds have often times manifested itself in modern times, with people you've long forgotten, rose from the ashes and was in your corner when you needed them most. History repeats itself.

  What would it take to awaken that little demon inside of you? Do you have any idea? Lets filter through a short list: Money, sex, peer pressure, alcohol, drugs, anger, pain, gambling, gossip, stress, depression, or maybe even a co conspirator in achieving an agenda? And please, don't kid yourself into thinking these demons don't exist within you, because they do, only they are lying in dormant. Smart money says 2:1 odds you can be coerced into awakening those demons. 10:1 odds says you can fight those demons. Perhaps we can be optimistic and go with those 10:1 odds you can fight through those demons by suppressing them with the help of the Lord.

  You need to stop kidding yourself into thinking this person you care so much about respects you. If you sit back and observe their actions, it will reveal everything it is you're looking for and then some. Its not about the money, its not about the sex, and its not about the material possessions you've been showered with. Those are deceptive tools designed to redirect your focus away from the point, allowing them to do whatever it is they set out to you (without) you. They'll camouflage their true feelings for you using shallow tactics, provoking you to play psychological warfare with yourself in trying to figure out exactly what's going on. And by the time you figure it all out, you'll discover that you lose either way.

  Have you ever had someone ask you a question, only to turn around and answer the question before you could answer? If you knew the answer already, why ask the question in the first place? How can you attain knowledge if you're unwilling to receive the knowledge that's offered? Humility can be very difficult for some people.

  Sometimes in life, divine intervention is the only thing we have that can rescue us during our darkest moments. It doesn't matter about all the good deeds you've done in life, nor the strength of your support group. Life can back you into a corner with no way out other than God himself. This is why you must enjoy and appreciate each and every day as if its your last, because we're all only a split second away from our entire world turning into a crash landing.

  Why is it so hard to swallow that pill of forgiveness? Is it really that hard? Does it eat away at the core of your soul to forgive someone that's blatantly betrayed you? Now that you've chosen not to forgive them, where do you go from that point? Surely you have to know that you'll be faced with other situations conducive to previous misdeeds committed against you, so you may as well free your spirit up now. If not, you'll see it again on the back end for sure.

  Sometimes you don't realize how much weight you're carrying around until you release those certain individuals out of your life. Its not mandatory that you carry around that excess baggage just for the sake of carrying it around with you. Release that ankle weight from around your ankles and free yourself up to live your life, your health depends on it.

  Have you ever met a person with great intellect, that will bait you into answering questions only to hold it against you? They'll (pretend) to have your best interest at heart because you've peaked their level of interest. Its at that point they'll ask you a question your spirit is telling you not to answer while you ponder your thoughts. This is where deception becomes a major player in trying to coerce you into revealing information you've been reluctant to give. Its truly amazing how some people will go to great lengths to humiliate you with your own words.

  If you lack confidence in your prayers, what's left? If you don't trust your prayers, who do you trust? Friends? Family? Who? You probably don't even trust yourself half the time, who knows? If your prayers aren't being answered, its not the Lord that's the problem, its (you).

  Without a plan what do you have? You can't sit around and assume things will fall into place on the merits of you being a good person. Truth be told its literally thousands of homeless people that were good people. Wait, correction, (are) good people. Your status in life is not the true indicator of who you really are, it means nothing. Heck anybody can hide behind nice garments, white teeth, houses and nice cars, so don't kid yourself into thinking material possessions will give you an automatic ticket to heaven, because it won't. Are you aware that the most honorable and giving people are the people that are invisible to the general public? Charitable people do not make themselves known, nor will tell you of their contributions to life itself.

  Sometimes its the itty bitty small things that make the biggest impact in our lives. So big that once its removed or eliminated out of our lives, its impact reveals itself shortly afterwards. Be very careful with the choices you make, and not allow your desires to impact your necessities. If what you have is already working, why tamper with success? Stop trying to recreate what's already working and just leave well enough alone.

  Mercy has been given to us throughout our journey in life, sparing us despite our struggles and minor setbacks we've encountered. We owe the Lord all the glory for continuing to have mercy on our souls. However, the one thing in life that shows no mercy, no remorse, and no favoritism towards any human being in life, and that's (time). Time shows no mercy on anyone, and never will. We must enjoy each day as if its our last, and cherish those special moments that life gives us. Have you looked yourself in the mirror lately? Time is definitely not your friend, its your enemy.

  If you have someone in your life that's cut your back out at some point in the past and you're still affiliated with them, ask yourself why? Why would you associate yourself with someone like that? If they did it once they'll do it again, and they'll never have anything good to say about you, so why not disconnect yourself from these type individuals? Life is far to short, people are passing away every 10 seconds of the day, and tomorrow isn't promised to you. You're better served simplifying your life, love yourself, love life, and appreciate the Lord for allowing you to be here today.

  It doesn't matter how badly things go in your life, the good always outweighs the bad. Society does not revolve around evil despite the insensitive nature many people have for human life. God would never allow evil to overtake humanity, because that would defeat and destroy everything he stands for. So remain positive and do not allow negative spirits to enter into your spirits.

  Sometimes tough love is not always defined as departing from someone you love, or depriving them of something you know can make things better. Tough love can also be defined as persevering and understanding that we can all make mistakes, and through those mistakes love can become stronger with patience and understanding. Sometimes in life its the love you deprive yourself from is the love that's needed to make you whole again. How can life love you if you won't allow it to love back?

  Have you ever just sat back and thought about the time and energy you've wasted in your life on people of insignificance? It comes a time in your life when you have to tell yourself, "they just aren't worth it". Can you imagine the frustration and aggravation you could have saved yourself by merely eliminating them out of your life? Entertaining people that don't have your best interest at heart, will only fuel the stupidity in your life that much more. So why not simply do away with it, eliminate the thoughts of that person from your brain cells, and move on to the next chapter in your life? Life is far to short to be wasting it on individuals that aren't even worth sharing the same air with.

 Life presents a plethora of ways that stress can impact our lives. However, if you think hard enough, you'll learn that some of those stressful situations can be controlled, avoided, and even removed from your life. For example, why would you allow someone of insignificance to inflict stress upon you? You're basically allowing them to have power and control over you. Now why would you do that? Perhaps you would be better suited reevaluating your life, filter out the buffoonery, and removed them permanently from your life. The wealth of your heart would truly appreciate it. 

  Its not uncommon for two people to not agree with each other from time to time, that's human nature. However, if you ever come across a person that never agrees with you on anything, that person truly doesn't respect you, and they truly don't like you. They'll often times try to camouflage it by maintaining civil communication with you, but in the end they can't hide who they really are.

  Why would you destroy someone's life for your own personal satisfaction? Why would you vindictively destroy someone's life out of anger? Destroying someone's life is as close to murder as it gets without actually taking the breath out of that person body. Innocent lives are taken everyday of the year. But it makes you wonder, of all the lives that are taken on a daily basis, whether through murder, auto accidents, sickness etc, how many of those lives were actually innocent?   If you think you're beautiful, its because you are beautiful. Don't ever allow anyone to tell you something you know you aren't. Its no such thing as a perfect human being no matter the popularity of that individual. God created us all with our own distinct uniqueness, displaying that something special that's appealing to someone that gives us special attention. You should never get offended with someone giving you extra attention you may view as otherwise too much attention. You can't help its the gift you were born with, so just embrace it and know that God loves you.

  We've all at some point suffered at the hands of difficult life encounters. These encounters typically boils down to either things we had no control over, or decisions we could have done differently. However, some people will take one bad encounter and transform it into a myriad of things that simply don't exist. Why not simply allow (time) to resolve your problems? If you think about it, most everything you've suffered through in life, was healed by father time.

Who do you love? Some proclaim to love everybody, others would say they love family, and so forth and so on. However, how can you say you love anyone when its quite clear you don't even love yourself? As people we say a lot of things just for the sake of being politically correct for public consumption. But when you sit back and observe those subtleties that often times go unnoticed, or even invisible to the naked eye, you'll discovered that not only do they not respect themselves, they lack respect for you as well. What are those subtleties you might ask? A person that lacks interest in (your) interest, choosing only to speak on topics (they) opt to talk about, yet will remain silent on topics of (your) interest. A person that doesn't respect (your) views, but will correct you at every turn while(consciously) undermining you all at the same time. A person that will ask you to be open with them, just so they can turn around and hold it against you by judging you, which pois

You can only go as far as you allow your mind to take you. If you are unwilling to allow your mind to take you places its never been, you'll never be able to understand and accept life in its truest form.

If only you knew then what you know now, where would you be today? Many would argue they would be in a better place without the dramatics that came with it. That being the case, how would erasing past problematic issues generate present day happiness? It was those issues that transformed you into the person you are today. It was those issues that brought you closer to the Lord. It was those issues that provided you with the wisdom you presently have today. Removing those issues will only erase everything God had planned for you, eliminating his purpose and defeating his point. Always remember, your path in life was chosen the day you were born. 

What if you saw the ghost of someone you truly loved that passed away, sitting in your living room? What would you do? Would you sit down and talk with them? Or would you become scared and run? If for whatever reason you opted to run, why? Either you believe in the Lord or you don't, you can't have it both ways. You've read about all the supernatural events from the bible your entire life, and now when faced with it you opt to run. Contrary to popular belief, supernatural things in life continue to take place everyday in the present, only you can't see it because your eyes are closed.

The topic of abortion is one of the most sensitive topics in the United States. Its a topic that lends itself to wonder, how can a man decide what a woman should and shouldn't do with her body? Who died and gave man that right? On the other hand, giving birth to a child is the closest thing to death each and every time a woman gives birth to a child. Giving birth to a child is something man has taken for granted and never talked about. Did you know that the average man has absolutely no clue about the physics of a woman's body? Are you also aware that a woman is three times likely to die from giving birth to a child in the United States? Are you also aware that 830 women die per year from giving birth to a child? Perhaps women should start reminding men of these statistics the next time they ask a woman to give them a child, lets see how sensitive they are to the health of a woman then.

Have you ever loved someone so much you unconsciously didn't want to share them with anyone? Sometimes these things happen when you're seeking the best interest of that person, wanting no harm to come to them. Its at that point you realize you were being selfish, not understanding that love isn't selfish. If you love a person you have to unselfishly release them from the shackles of your own love in order for them to receive the proper love needed to make them happy.

If you are settled within yourself, understanding who you are and comfortable in the skin your in, don't ever allow anyone to tell you you're something that you aren't. Stand your ground and ignore the ignorance, because if you don't, they'll try to place you in a box and label you as if they know you. Those same people that think they know you, don't know you because they were to busy judging you and never tried to get to know you. It's those same people you're better served allowing them to wallow in there own ignorance and laugh at them privately.

Why would you pacifier wrong? If you see something that's not right, correct it and not remain silent about it. Far to often people will remain silent on the merits of protecting the sacredness of the friendship they have with an individual. If the sanctity of your friendship with a person revolves around supporting wrong, don't expect your words to be digested to those in need of good advice. You should never allow hypocrisy to leak into the cracks of a sound friendship.

If someone thought enough of you to share something very personal, why would you share that with someone else? Despite the magnitude of its contents, respecting that person privacy should be sacredly kept unspoken.

Sometimes in life the most lethal weapon used is a weapon that's invisible among you, "silence". Silence is the single most deadliest weapon any person can use if used inappropriately. Silence should only be used in the form of respect and gaining knowledge. Unfortunately that's not the case in many cases. For example, witnessing a murder, spousal abuse, not standing up for yourself, withholding information, or even lack of gratitude, and that's just to name a few. Sometimes in life its not the words that are spoken, its the words that are unspoken that can carry the most venom.

If history makes you uncomfortable, that's good, because it means you realize the importance of it. You can't avoid it because it repeats itself 365 days a year. So whenever the opportunity to receive history presents itself, be receptive, digest it, embrace it, and learn from it.

Sometimes events happen in our lives we have absolutely no control over. Such events can change and redirect our lives forever, impacting our approach, our vision, and our everyday thinking. But just so we're on the same page, you should never undermine or pass judgment on someone else's suffering by comparing it to yours. Because as individuals, our suffering is in accordance with what God allowed us to endure. In other words, he will not place more on you than you can bare.

One of the cardinal sins in life is lack of appreciation for the blessings you receive. The blessings you receive can be taken away as easily as they were given to you by merely complaining. If you connect the dots and think about past blessings that were taken away from you, you'll discover that your lack of appreciation for God is what led you down that path. You must embrace the bad as well as the good, stop the complaining, and understand that the problems you endure in life is equivalent to a grain of sand, it means nothing.

Despite your failures in life, despite your level of under achievements, and despite what others think of you, never underestimate your value in life itself. Money doesn't measure your value on life despite the value man place on money. God has taken down the mightiest of men despite the value man placed upon himself in elevating himself above those God created. God does not make junk despite our flaws, as he has blessed us all equally under (his) version of blessings. So stop devaluing your worth in life based on (man's) criteria of value.

Its funny how certain individuals in life have long been forgotten, or not even mentioned. For example, Susan B Anthony, why is it nobody ever mentions her name? Her place in history is just as important, if not more important than others from the past. Here it is a white woman that fought for blacks harder than anyone in history to date, fought for women's rights harder than anyone in history, and even had a petition of 400,000 signatures in efforts to have slavery abolished . Yet during black history month this woman is never mentioned, why? Does a person that fights for you have to be of the same culture to be acknowledged? Here it is a woman that put her life on the line for all mankind as an activist, yet its as if she never existed, why? History has shown over and over again, change in the United States almost always falls into the hands of women, and without their voices, our society would have been destroyed a long time ago. Battles are won and lost in life on a daily basis, that's just life. It's not realistic to think you're going to win every battle you face in life, God didn't design it that way. However, many of those battles you lost were within your control had you opted to face those battles. Can you win more than you lose in life? That depends on you, because often times in life it appears that you're losing on the surface, when in actuality you're winning, you just didn't know it. Sometimes you have to allow life to win those battles for you rather than tackling the inevitable.

It's nothing wrong with opening yourself up to the unknown, even if it brings you discomfort in doing do. Sometimes bringing short term discomfort to yourself can bring long term peace into your life, its just a matter of stepping outside of your comfort zone and accepting life the way it is.

Have you ever been misled by someone you respected, only to find out deep down they aren't who they portray themselves to be? It can disheartening on many fronts because you've mentally placed them in an area sacred to your inner thoughts. It just goes to show we should never elevate a person beyond ourselves, because the fall can be severe.

What's the difference between a person with a corrupt mind and yourself? Nothing. Some people with corrupt minds, carry out those thoughts for the world to see. Others like yourself may think those thoughts, but opt not to carry out those thoughts. Its comparable to a person that cheats in a relationship, as some people will carry out those lustful thoughts by engaging in intimacy, while others will lust quietly without saying a word, thinking as long as they do not carry out those thoughts, it makes them better, (but it doesn't), it makes you the same. So are your thoughts that's who you are.

Knowledge can only be gained if you accept it and learn from it. Many people try to cherry pick the people they want to gain the knowledge from. Well, we do have that option, however, often times knowledge will come to us in unconventional ways that will make us uncomfortable in some instances. Its during (that) time we have to condition ourselves into ignoring the messenger, and pay close attention to the message. Knowledge is not something we should ever refute, because it can be used as a devise to help others in the future.

With so many people living the life of a lie, it lends itself to wonder, what exactly does a lie do for you? Does living in deception truly put you in a better place in life? Why does the truth hurt so badly? Maybe fear of the truth stems from the reaction you get from the truth, or the friends you'll lose during the process. The truth only hurts if you're incapable of accepting it.

Some of the hardest decisions in life are often time the easiest for some people. And some of the easiest decisions in life can be the most difficult. However, if someone attempts to correct you on a decision you felt was the right decision, exercise humility, pay close attention to what the person is saying, and thank that person for giving you a better vision on life.

Racial divide has been around since the beginning of time and will be here til the end of time. How was racism created in the first place? We can only speculate because nobody was here during those times. But one thing we do know, and that is jealousy was the common theme behind the entire process affiliated with God's chosen people. Who exactly were God's chosen people during those times we can once again only speculate. However, we do know those chosen people were a minority of people that were bullied by the (majority) out of jealousy. And if you pay close attention to opportunities given to minorities, much of this speaks for itself so that narrows down the playing field considerably. Perhaps we can ask the (majorities) who those people are? Surely they would know, all bullies know, but are afraid to admit it, because we're still surrounded by those chosen people thousands of years later.

If you are incapable of accepting life the way it is, your degree of success will be very difficult, and you're ambition becomes very unrealistic. You have to accept life the way it is in order to sustain any form of success. Some people tend to create something that doesn't exist, feeling as though they can change the narrative. Where in life does that happen?

How can a person be inconsiderate to you about something they don't know? If you failed to inform that person of your personal issues, it would be inappropriate to accuse them of being inconsiderate. Its always wise to think before you speak.

Although we exist in the same world, our worlds are totally different. Those public images you see, are deceptive, misleading, and fraudulent. Simply put, its a mirage, strategically designed to coerce you into believing material possessions, glamour, or anything designed to take your focus of attention off of reality. Notice, reality is one of the hardest things in society people struggle with digesting, and you wonder why? The true realities of life is not complicated, its (you) that create the complications you incur in life. So despite your current place in life, its meant for you to enjoy, be happy, and love the skin you're in.

If God didn't love you, why are you here? If you don't believe in his existence, who came up with his existence? If you don't believe in prayer, how are prayers answered? If you don't believe Jesus ever existed, why has his name been passed down over the past 2000 years, and why did they connect him to some woman named Mary? If you don't believe in the scriptures, why does the city of Jericho still carry artifacts from the days Jesus walked this earth? Is your reasoning for doubting God's existence stem from slavery? Slaves weren't confined to one culture, slaves were created by cowards that saw the strength in weaknesses in God's chosen. Are your reasoning for doubting God's existence stemming from you not being able to pimp him the way we as humans pimp each other for personal desires?
