As parents, we not only have to be careful with the way we treat others around our children, we have to be extra careful how we ALLOW others to treat US in the eyes of our children. Because its a thin line between respect or lack there of in eyes of how we are viewed by them. We must also be conscientious of the perception our children views on life, not allowing them to be distracted by everything that glitters, educating them that life is not built on shiny glossy material possessions. Life is a never ending marathon that allows us to exist in this world for a short period of time, as we must not allow our children to get caught up in things of low substance that can shorten there lives before it even gets up off the ground.
