Protected Thoughts

 If you truly love a person, continue to love them despite the ignorance they exhibit. Yes it's tough, but nobody said it would be easy, life isn't easy. And despite that person inability to equally return that love to share with them, do not allow your love for them to waver. Protected love is not real love, protecting your heart is.

Why? Growth is nothing to be ashamed of, so stop hiding it. It's perfectly fine to outgrow people, because it shows maturity and a willingness to change, the Lord loves that whether you know it or not. It doesn't mean you have to distance yourself from a person, they'll do that anyway once they see the growth within you.

  Once you've discovered you have outgrown a person, do not be ashamed to reveal it. Minimizing who you really just to fit in with someone you know maturation hasn't matured, will do nothing for you internally.
