 Do people know the real you? Or do they know the person you want them to know, big difference? Most people probably know your degree of generosity, the loving, caring and smart person you display for all to see. What about that other person that's kept hidden away in the closet? You know that person, the one that's in plain site but nobody notices. The person that can't seem to hold down a relationship, or has never been married for reasons only you know, THAT person.

  It's mind boggling how so many people are willing to dial back their inner growth in order to fit in with people they care about. It's as if they are ashamed to reveal the inner growth within them. Why? Growth is nothing to be ashamed of, so stop hiding it. It's perfectly fine to outgrow people, because it shows maturity and a willingness to change, the Lord loves that whether you know it or not. It doesn't mean you have to distance yourself from a person, they'll do that anyway once they see the growth within you.

  Once you've discovered you have outgrown a person, do not be ashamed to reveal it. Minimizing who you really just to fit in with someone you know maturation hasn't matured, will do nothing for you internally.
